Next Generation Air & Heat is a professional organization. Recently when our air conditioner needed replacing I started a search for a new contractor. My present contractor was OK but... So I clipped ads from the paper and started calling 7/8 different ads. I learn allot by talking to the sales or office person. Some were knowledgeable, some just answered to phone. I asked many technical questions, most said they would send someone out to review my system. I was not ready for that yet. I wanted to talk. I received a few good answers to my questions, the ones that answered them the best. I invited them to look at my old system and give a quote. Was I surprised - the quotes were all over the place, one gave me a very high verbal price then when I ask for a written quote he didn't (wouldn't) give me a quote but said he would beat anybody’s price by $100. Needless to say when I contacted owner John Lazaridis of Next Generation it was a professional experience. John came out inspected my system and gave many options that would save me money, he then crawled into the attic and inspected all of the ducts and ducting in a very narrow space. (no other contractor did that). We agreed on a price for new model A/C which was lower than 5 others. The test of a good manager is someone that does what he says he will do. John and his team are tops, in one day all was installed and clean up. The new system is really nice, easy to operate. I told a neighbor and he had John install a new system that saved him over a thousand dollars. My advice to any one looking for a new A/C -- Just call John and save yourself a lot of time.

The crew were extremely knowledgeable and on time. They showed up when they said they would and installed everything they said they'd install. They had to build some stuff from scratch and their work was better than the original. They were extremely neat and cleaned up all debris that they created from the installation. In all cases, the work they did was perfect to the point where you could not tell they had installed something. The finished work looked like it was part of the house. They explained everything they were doing and they thoroughly tested and retested everything they installed. After the installation was complete they took the time to explain the features of our new air conditioner and how to change filters, set the thermostat, etc. The price was competitive with other vendors in the area. A nice touch was the company president visiting the work site to look over their quality, installation, etc. I was left with the feeling that this company is going to take care of me and be with me for the entire life of our A/C system. We've already had the opportunity to use the system and it performs exactly as advertised. We're over the moon with NexGen and would recommend them to anyone needing A/C work.

The two technicians arrived on time, were professional, knew what they were doing, answered all our questions and explained how to run our new air conditioner/heat pump and thermostat. We have used Next Generation before, have belonged to their plan for a couple of years and have been very satisfied when we needed service. This air conditioner/heat pump was almost 12 years old and had rusted out past the point of reasonable repair. This was discovered during our semi-annual checkup. Last summer we had an emergency call for repair on our air conditioner and they came out after hours in the middle of the summer and fixed it. They do not push to repair/replace something that does not need to be done. We definitely will continue to use them. My old AC system failed late Friday evening. The next morning I contacted my neighbor for the phone number of Next Generation Air & Heat because a year ago I saw and liked workmanship of the AC System which Next Generation installed for my neighbor. Plus, in talking with the installation crew, I liked their professionalism and knowledge.
Within a few hours Next Generation Air & Heat AC Tech Russ came. In working and talking with Russ I found him to be professional, knowledgeable and honest. I am not an AC expert; however I do have a good working knowledge of the workings of AC systems, common problems and fixes. In removing the cover and seeing multiple components badly corroded and fins crumbling off the outside units coils, along with the age of my system it was the end for my old system I informed Russ, to notify his company to give an estimate for a replacement system.
I was not expecting to be contacted until the following Monday. To my surprise John from Next Generation personally visited my home mid-morning the following day. John and I discussed my homes AC needs along with what I expected from an AC System. John was able to quickly set me up with the ideal system for my home that most importantly meets my AC system expectations.
Monday morning, Next Generations installation crew arrived and by midafternoon they had the old system removed and my new system up and running. I found them too, to be professional in their appearance, workmanship, and knowledge, and willing to answer all my questions. Their installation looks clean, and professionally done. They also keep their work site clean. My new AC system is cooling my home very nicely.
